    Field Researcher –Northern Wake County, NC

     

    Do you enjoy exploring new home communities in your local area?  Metrostudy is hiring new team members to join the housing research group in the Northern Wake County area.  This position is a great opportunity for anyone looking for a short-term position with flexible work hours.  Assigned work is reoccurring, and it is completed during the first three weeks of each quarter.  Field work must be completed during daylight hours.  Pay rates start at $8.50-9.50/hour.  Metrostudy provides work related mileage reimbursement.

     

    We are looking for candidates who are detail oriented, organized, and can work well independently.  After training, you and your manager will create a flexible work schedule that allows you to visit new home communities with no need to go into the office each day.   Employees will come to the office to review their work with a manager and it submit it before each quarterly deadline.

     

    Metrostudy is filling positions in the following areas:

     

    Wake Forest/Rolesville

    Franklin County

    Granville County 

     

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    Drive through assigned new home communities during daylight hours

    Meet with the Research Manager for scheduled meetings at the beginning and end of each quarter

    Update construction activity and floorplan data

    Complete paperwork as instructed

    Maintain high data quality standards

    Build strong rapport with community sales agents

    Represent Metrostudy in a professional manner

    Be on time and prepared for scheduled meetings

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Access to a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and automobile insurance required

    Ability to drive though new home communities during daylight hours

    Ability to meet with the Research Manager during the business week for scheduled assignment pickup and drop off meetings

    Interest in learning more about the local housing market

    Excellent communication and organization skills

    Ability to start and complete projects independently

    Ability to cooperate with manager and other research team members

    Deadline driven

    Detail oriented

    Close proximity to the market's geographic area during the tenure of the position

    Access to a smart phone and ability to use smart phone apps is preferred but not required
