    Digital Marketing Strategist


    Hanley Wood, www.hanleywood.com, is seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist to join their Strategic Marketing Services team. The ideal candidate will be a talented, driven marketer, experienced in analyzing and optimizing successful digital campaigns. Functions of the Digital Marketing Strategist include but are not limited to performing in-depth analysis of client opportunities and collaborating with various business stakeholders, including business and product development teams, sales, project management, marketing, and outside clients.


    The successful candidate will be responsible for working with Hanley Wood’s Strategic Marketing Services team and their portfolio of clients to assist in defining and implementing digital marketing strategies that align with client marketing and business objectives; producing meaningful marketing KPI dashboards and delivering cross channel performance reports with actionable insight. The role will also involve conducting conversion optimization strategies with the aim of improving efficiency in client’s digital marketing strategies and increasing ROI. The successful candidate will not necessarily come from a pure web analytics background but should possess an excellent, in-depth level of knowledge in digital marketing and experience in strategic and analytical management of digital campaigns is essential.


    Qualified Candidates will possess the following Education, Experience, and Skills:

    • Experience working with analytical software (Google Analytics preferred)
    • Analyze marketing campaigns including tracking implementation and measurement of campaign
    • Monitor campaign to track effectiveness and identify optimization opportunities
    • Collaborate with marketing services, editorial and web ops teams as needed to optimize programs
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint for producing client reports and presentations
    • Experience in identifying and validating strategic and tactical marketing objectives
    • Interface with sales and clients as needed
    • Strong critical-thinking and problem solving skills
    • Excellent project management and business analysis skills
    • Experienced at setting up controls, processes, and procedures
    • Strong ability to multi-task and execute tasks within a deadline oriented environment
    • Self-motivated, proactive team player and independent worker
    • Solid communication skills, written and verbal
    • Continues to look for ways to improve, simplify, and better support the business
    • Tenacious in pursuit of perfection in work product output
    • Strong influence and networking skills
    • Excellent follow-up skills
    • Resourceful, detail oriented and flexible in order to adapt to changing circumstances when needed
