Metrostudy, a Hanley Wood Company, is currently seeking a Market Analyst to work in our Denver office.  The Market Analyst is principally responsible for gathering and interpreting data, creating reports and making recommendations to senior staff based upon the research findings. The Market Analyst works directly with a Senior Analyst or Regional Director (either internal or external) and functions primarily in a support role. The position applies qualitative and quantitative techniques to interpret the data and produce reports and analysis to be utilized by Metrostudy’s clients.



  • Conduct in-depth data analyses using traditional and advanced methods.
  • Monitor and analyze key economic and demographic trends and report on key developments.
  • Contribute to the development of specialized market research performed by a Senior Analyst or Regional Director.
  • Contribute to the research and development of housing and demographic forecasts.
  • Monitor and analyze conditions in specified residential real estate markets.
  • Perform additional duties and/or project work as assigned.


  • 1 to 3 years of industry/sector experience.
  • Strong analytic and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong written, oral, and presentation communication abilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Additional experience with SPSS/SAS or R is preferred.
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in economics, mathematics, real estate, business, marketing or other related field.
