Hanley Wood is currently seeking an entry level Business Development associate to join our DC headquarters. The Business Development associate will report to the Director of Emerging Accounts. This business development role will be responsible for prospecting new business opportunities, managing a current account base, and developing new opportunities within their given territories for revenue goal achievement. They will primarily be selling advertising media packages centered on print and digital advertising, conference and event sponsorships, and marketing services.
This individual will be a highly motivated, self-starter able to identify and develop new business prospects from multiple sources. They must have the ability to spend 80% of time on the phone interacting with prospects with the goal of reaching and communicating with the decision makers of prospect companies. Some occasional travel to trade shows may be required, but very minimal throughout year.
